Biography
Dr Royida Al Marastani is a Senior Pharmacist with more than thirty years of experience in the UAE in Abu Dhabi in Primary Health Centers (PHC), Urgent Care Center (UCC) and Ambulatory Health Services (AHS) and MSc in Clinical Pharmacy UK. She is a lecturer from 2003 in Ministry of Health (MOH), in CPE/CME pharmacist’s program from 2011 in SEHA/ Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS). Her roles include conducting research, conference abstracts, invited presentations in the national & international conferences, focusing on pharmaceutical care based on safety and efficacy of the medications.

Biography
Joseph D. Miller did his postdocs in dopamine electrophysiology and in circadian biology 1979-1984. In 1984, he became the project director for a space shuttle project in primate circadian rhythms out of the University of California. In 1987 he moved to Stanford and became director of neurochemistry for the Stanford-Upjohn Center. In 1994, he moved to Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and left there in 2000 to become director of pharmacology at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. He is currently chair of pharmacology at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.
Research Interest
His research interests are in the biological mechanisms of drug abuse and dependency, and the neuropharmacology of sleep and circadian rhythms. He has been associated with the University of Texas Addiction Research Center for many years and have given many workshops on the neurobiology of drug addiction under their auspices.
Biography
Ibrahim Elsayed is associate professor and chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Gulf Medical University, Ajman UAE. He did his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy from Cairo University at 2011. His Graduate diploma in Health-Professions Education is from Gulf Medical University at 2015. He has an experience in teaching almost all pharmaceutics courses including dosage forms, Bio-pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, reaction kinetics, industrial pharmacy, quality control and assurance. He published 16 research articles in reputable international journals (Total Impact factor: 64, e.g. International Journal of Pharmaceutics, International Journal of Nano medicine and Expert Opinion in Drug Delivery). His H-index is 7, i10-index is 7 and total citations are 177 (according to Google scholar).He got a funded research project from Sharjah University (accepted and running).
Research Interest
His Research interests are use of nanotechnology in drug delivery, solubilization, targeting and bioavailability enhancement.
