Biography
Saeed Qureshi is the Principal at PharmacoMechanics, Canada. He has an extensive experience of 30 years in conducting hands-on and multi-disciplinary laboratory research in pharmaceutical areas in a regulatory environment with Health Canada. He has thorough knowledge and understanding of various concepts (e.g. SUPAC, BCS, IVIVC, QbD) and standards and guidelines (e.g. FDA, USP, ICH) pertaining to developing and setting standards for establishing quality, safety and efficacy of pharmaceuticals. His publications include book chapters; numerous national and international presentations and course teaching assignments. He is the recipient of Health Canada’s Deputy Minister Award for Excellence in Science and Editor-in-Chief of The Open Drug Delivery Journal.
Research Interest
Pharmacokinetics, biopharmaceutics, drug dissolution testing, analytical chemistry as related to characterization of pharmaceuticals, in particular based on in vitro (dissolution) and bioavailability/bioequivalence (humans and animals) assessments.
