Biography

Professor Mohammad Saeid Hejazi has completed his PharmD from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and awarded a scholarship to study PhD. He obtained his MSc and PhD from King’s College London in 2003 and after coming back to Iran established some laboratories and took part in establishment of some courses locally and nationwide including leading establishment of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology department in Faculty of Pharmacy and Molecular Medicine in School of Advanced Biomedical Sciences in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. He is the head of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine departments. He is involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate courses and has supervised more than 50 MSc, PharmD and PhD thesis. He has published more than 56 papers including discovery of two new bacterial genus and species.
