Biography
Dr. Maged Amer has been an independent consultant since 2007, serving both, pharmaceutical and medical devices manufacturers and distributors. With over 40 years of experience working for blue chip companies and Middle East companies out of the GCC, Egypt, Belgium and USA, he has extensive knowledge of the industry and its practices around the world. His has formerly worked for companies including Aventis, Pfizer, Janssen and GSK. Dr. Amer's expertise ranges from ideation of product mix through to designing and project managing the building of appropriate production plant for that specific product mix, sourcing all the know-how from product formulation, processes validation, product testing and trial till final product approval and registration of over 600 drugs, finally planning and implementing product launches. Being one of hand full of experts who have directed the complete establishment of Greenfield manufacturing operations from concept through to break-even, he offers one stop all rounded single point of contact to set plans, strategies and manages all third parties.
