• Professor of Microbiology, High Institute of Public Health Alexandria University • Current position: Head of Microbiology& Immunology Department, Faculty of Pharmacy & Drug Manufacturing, Pharos University in Alexandria (2010- up till now) • Head of Microbiology Department, High Institute of Public health, University of Alexandria, (2005 –2008) • Reviewer of the Bulletin of High Institute of Public Health (Bull HIPH), the Journal of the Egyptian Public Health Association, and Journal of the Medical Research Institute. • Supervised a number of research projects, master and doctor theses in different fields of microbiology
